We were recently approached by TVNZ News to give a small insight into the critical role CCTV footage played in the Grace Millane inquiry.

There are now unprecedented volumes of security footage recording our daily lives, but establishing where to look, gaining access to archives and reviewing facts is still absolutely critical.

We understand and respect how much energy will have gone into this work - both professionally and personally - and as techniques and technology change we think this case is an example of how the New Zealand Police continue to be an incredibly professional and human organisation.
